Mid July Report
Things have been going well with Christ and myself alone. I've had some incredible times simply communicating with Him. Let's be honest though, it's more about me listening than it is about communicating. As it is well known. Listening is 90% of communication. You have to listen to language, voice inflection, body language, etc.
In terms of what I feel needs some major prayer would be as follows.
*Incoming Freshmen Leaders. To find Chi Alpha as their "home."
*All Students. To have a passion and call to reach their own generation with who Christ is, personally, in their own lives.
*Financially. I took a big hit this month in support and I am doing the work to make things right, but it is a major point of attack and frustration in my life.
*Partnership within the Body of Christ. InterVarsity Christian Fellowship and Chi Alpha have been looking at partnering to better reach the campus. John Jordens (IV Director) and myself have been meeting, discussing, etc. Please pray for IVCF and John Jordens for wisdom, discernment, and favor at UWSP.

Middle June Report
Halfway through the month of June and I have been impressed at what God has been doing in and through my life. At times I am still amazed at His Grace He lavishes on us and at times I realize that my projection of my earthly dad to Him is not always the truth. Perhaps that will be the Father's Day Salute on DigIt.
Prayer Requests:
1) More than ever, I am completely dependent on YOU to partner with me in prayer. I know ministry has been easiest/miraculous things have happened as I have had that support team around me. Originally I thought it was the "local church." Then what I realized these last two months was that it wasn't the people saying "Hi Pastor Lars." It was the people who believed, prayed, and occasionally fasted...simply that God would work in the hearts of students and in our midst. SO: Please, I ask, make praying for me a priority (as much as you feel led).
2) Summer Time. Normally it is associated with people relying a bit more on Grace to hopefully lead them back from their miscues. Pray for students to have a "HOLY WANT TO." And pray for the relationship with the Almighty for all of us (you, the students, and myself included) to be more honest, real, and passionate.
3) Itineration/Fundraising. Summer is also the time when I blaze the trail in search of new support or investigating why some support dropped off. I know that I have been blessed and I've been praying that as people invest in my minstry here in Stevens Point, that they experience something amazing as well from Christ.
4) Family. Please pray simply for the reconciliation of son's and parent's. Not me mind you...just pray that God's hand would shape and form hearts.
Thank you for being My Church that sends me.

New Times
Though I missed last week’s entry for my prayer blog here and the virtual church...It was not from a lack of want, simply from a lack of time. I know that sounds odd and possibly a bit lame. However, I wanted to return with a flash and my buddy Beeks gave me the spark I needed to get back in here.
Requests 2/1-2/6
-------------------
* Leadership Team forming for XA.
-Wisdom -Service -Passion -Foundation
* UWSPXA Retreat (Either 4/16-17 or 4/23-24) Wausau WI.
-Anointing -Receptiveness to the Gospel -Financial Provision.
* Wisdom
* Discernment
* Pray for the Harvest
Weekly Thought:
------------------
"I don't know why people would want to live by the ideals, principals, and rules of the Bible? I mean without my relationship and without God being God (moving in Power, changing my paradigm, healing the sick, changing a heart, etc.) what's the point? It easier and more fun to live for my own desires."
-Anon. Student
And remember...Faith does manage.

Beginnings
Virtual Church?
Yes, you've probably come to this site because of some how being connected to Lars Nielsen or the ministry of Chi Alpha at UW-Stevens Point. But what is this about Virtual Church? More to come on that later... Simply stated, look for every Monday morning for a new post. These will include specifics for needs (prayer), amazing testimonies, gritty ministry info, and hopefully a chance for your to partner with us in ministry here in Stevens Point and around the World.
I look forward to joining with you for this Virtual Church.
